Jackson Wang, a member of GOT7 and GOT7, performed in India as part of the Lollapalooza India lineup. The singer delivered a rousing performance on day two at the fest. Jackson began his show with his most-loved song “100 Ways” and then proceeded to perform songs from his newly out album Magicman. The GOT7 singer also declared his love for India and insisted that he’s wanted to travel to India for the past 4-5 years. “I am in love with India,” Jackson exclaimed at least a few times.
JACKSON WANG MESMERISES THE INDIAN AUDIENCE
While singing, he said “I am a lover of India. I enjoy Bollywood. I’ve wanted to be here for the past 4 or 5 years, and it’s finally come to pass.” The artist also spoke briefly about that he was on the Magicman Tour and the inspiration for his album. Jackson gave a powerfully-executed show with a stunning choreographic backdrop. People who love Jackson were seen singing Jackson’s name during the performance.
‘WANT TO DO A CONCERT IN INDIA’
In the final moments, Jackson reiterated that he was planning to perform a show at some point in India and asked to know if India was ready. It could represent the first occasion an extremely popular K-pop artist was on stage in India. The overwhelming reaction to his show left fans hopeful for a solo show of Wang to India.
While this was happening, Jackson, in his characteristic style, was soliciting recommendations to chill in Mumbai. Jackson’s electrifying show was well appreciated through social media. Hashtags such as ‘India Welcomes Jackson”‘ and ‘Jackson in India are popular.
Jackson is a part of GOT7 which began their career in the year 2015. He has also been balancing his solo work.
